That’s a Wrap – Yarn Bombing in Cygnet

That’s a Wrap – Yarn Bombing in Cygnet

Cygnet has always been a good place to go for some warm fuzzies, and this summer it has been wearing its heart on its sleeve. Or should that be wearing some sleeves in its heart?

During January the town was Yarn Bombed by the Cygnet CWA as their contribution to the Cygnet Folk Festival.

Cygnet Yarn Bombing

Yarn bombing, sometimes also called Graffiti Knitting, is a 21st century crafty phenomenon taking off around the world. Quirky, whimsical and cheerful, Yarn Bombing brightens the streets and buildings. From simple stitches to more complex creations, Cygnet has been filled with bursts of colour, texture and fun.

Congratulations to the ladies of the Cygnet CWA on their achievement.
